Hi, I’m Joseph Massimino, a Maine-based photographer with a passion for capturing the world through light, form, and mood. My work spans a wide range of subjects — from industrial and urban landscapes to natural vistas and intimate details — always seeking the beauty and story in every scene.

I approach photography as both art and exploration. Whether it’s the geometry of a shipyard, the quiet drama of a forest, or the textures of a city street, I aim to create images that evoke emotion, spark curiosity, and transform the way you see a space.

I once took a B&W photography class at School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1995. Back then it was all dark room processing. However, I discovered the joy of capturing a moment in time, and conveying a feeling to the audience. What a nice added medium to a life of art. What a gift!
